GPS Remote Speaker Microphones
The Global Positioning System (GPS) Remote Speaker Microphone allows ASTRO Digital XTS 2500 and 5000 portable two-way radio users in outdoor locations to be automatically tracked by satellite throughout North America. For optimal GPS coverage, a clear view of sky with no obstructions is required. GPS Coverage may be limited in buildings, parking garages and areas with heavy tree coverage. Both models have a channel selector, programmable button, volume control and emergency button.
IMPRES Display Remote Speaker Microphone
The HMN4103 is the basic version of the display microphone with volume control, two programmable buttons and an orange button. Its 8-character display mimics the top display to show zone and channel information at a glance. It is designed with the same speaker used in the APX 7000 portable radio and delivers audio that is clearer, more intelligible and up 50% louder than XTS-series RSMs. Meets rugged specifications for submersibility and includes the first rugged, submersible audio jack from Motorola.

The Remote Speaker Microphone is a water-resistant compact unit that allows talking and listening without removing the radio from the belt or case. It has a coiled cord, Push-to-Talk switch. Clothing clip on microphone back clips securely onto shirt or collar.

Public Safety Microphones include straight cord assembly, swivel clip, quick disconnect latch,
high/low volume toggle switch and a 3.5mm audio jack. Use with radio's antenna, sold separately.
Remote Speaker Microphones with Emergency Button
The orange button on the microphone head can be used to signal that the operator needs help. This microphone offers high/low volume control and has a 3.5mm audio jack on the microphone head. Emergency activation from the RSM is delayed until programmed Mandown Pre-alert and Post-alert delays elapse. Depending on radio model, factory defaults or previous programming could set the delay times for as long as 8 to 120 seconds.
